Germadisc

“New product” for all-in-one soil preparation tools in a single pass, the GERMADISC is an improvement on the SYNCHROGERM. Supplemented by two rows of disks instead of the track cleaners and the levelling blade, the GERMADISC is more easily able to condition lumpy or grassy soils and also to plough stubble whilst retaining the possibility of preparing a seedbed adapted to each crop. Easy to use and adjust, it is suitable for all types of preparations (cereals, potatoes, maize, sunflower, sugar beets, lucerne, etc.) at minimal maintenance cost. The many adjustment possibilities enable extremely precise preparations to be obtained whatever the working depth, in terms of dispersion and replacement capacity.

A series of working mechanisms results in perfect work :
Two rows of scalloped discs of 410 mm, two spirals of 420 mm, profile 30 x 20, cultivator with two or three rows of tines 25 or 30 mm square, fitted with duckfoot shovel, two 420 mm spirals and single or double row croskillettes.

This is the tool for the large crops :
its greater versatility and its very high capacity enable the seedbed to be prepared at the most favourable time to obtain the best possible farming results. The Germadisc is available in the Tool Carrier version for preparing the soil and sowing in a single pass.

The strengths :

. Work carried out in a single pass, saving of time and fuel.
. Soil less compacted due to the reduction in the number of passes of the tractor wheels.
. Homogeneous work throughout the width of the tool (rigid frame when working).
. More regular lifting than with driven tools.
. No smoothing of the bottom of the seedbed.
. Very good stability and replacement at depth with the spirals.

The Synchrospire rollers (exclusive FRANQUET patent) at the front and rear of the Germadisc ensure perfect stability, keep the working depth constant, disperse, level, sort the lumps and fine soil, and strength the soil at dept by favouring the raising of water by capillarity.
